WSP officers focusing on truck safety

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) -- Washington State Patrol officers are focusing on truck safety this week in their Roadcheck 2011 operation.
The patrol says officers from the Commercial Vehicle Division will be inspecting trucks for safety and checking driver logbooks from Tuesday through Thursday, day and night, at weigh stations and with roving patrols.
Roadcheck 2011 is an international operation throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
