ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — The Detroit Tigers recalled lefthander Phil Coke from an injury rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo and reinstated him from the 15-day disabled list to make Wednesday night’s start against the Texas Rangers.
Coke has been out since May 24 with a bone bruise on his right foot.
The Tigers optioned catcher Omir Santos to Toledo.
