PENDLETON, Ore. (AP) — A sexual harassment and discrimination complaint against former Umatilla County district attorney Dean Gushwa has been dismissed.
The East Oregonian reports the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries dismissed that complaint for lack of evidence.
The agency has also dismissed related complaints the woman made against the state and county, claiming they failed to protect her from Gushwa and retaliation from other employees.
A state investigator found the woman didn’t rebuff Gushwa’s sexual advances and welcomed the relationship with Gushwa until she learned he was sexually involved with another female employee.
