ABERDEEN, Wash. (AP) — An Aberdeen, Wash., woman shot multiple times in early May has died.
Aberdeen police and relatives of 28-year-old Rebbecca Dietz say she died Thursday after being rushed to Grays Harbor Community Hospital.
The Daily World says Dietz suffered at least five gunshot wounds to her head, neck and shoulders in the May 3 attack.
Police arrested 39-year-old Charles E. Jefferson, who was subsequently charged with assault. Jefferson is the father of Dietz’s three children, ages 3 to 7.
