PENDLETON, Ore. (AP) — At least two people have been killed in the crash of a small plane in eastern Oregon.

Civil Air Patrol Lt. Col. Thomas Traver said Monday the third person believed to be on board has not been found.

Umatilla County Emergency Management says the plane went down Sunday after taking off from Dallesport, Wash., bound for Wyoming.

The Civil Air Patrol found the wreckage 13 miles east of Ukiah, about 50 miles south of Pendleton.

Umatilla County sheriff’s deputies are at the scene.

The FAA and the NTSB are sending investigators.
