Chamber of Commerce staff member Paul Montague was named Tuesday to lead Identity Clark County as executive director, replacing Ginger Metcalf, who announced plans to retire in May.

Montague has spent the last six years leading membership development and community outreach initiatives for the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce. The work factored into his selection, said Scott Horenstein, a local attorney and president of the Identity Clark County board.

“Paul has the trust and respect of public and private leaders,” Horenstein said.

Identity Clark County focuses on economic development initiatives and issues facing the region. It was founded in 1993.
