I have several violets in pots that did well for awhile then they stopped flowering. I kept them watered, why did they stop blooming?
It’s not clear if you mean violets that are growing in your garden or African violets. I’m going to assume you are referring to violets in your garden.
The bloom is quite short lived on most violets. They bloom early and only one time each year. However you might be referring to pansies, which will continue to bloom profusely if you deadhead or remove the faded blooms.
Remember plants have one mission in life and that is to reproduce by setting seed. If you keep them from producing seed, they will keep blooming.
