Afghan officials say 9 killed in Kabul attack

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) -- The Afghan Interior Ministry says nine people have been killed in an attack on a police station in the country's capital. Previously, officials had reported two police officers and one civilian killed.
The ministry says in a statement that three police officers, one intelligence agent and five civilians were killed in Saturday's assault. Gunmen stormed the police station near the presidential office, prompting a gunfight that lasted for more than an hour.
