COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (AP) — Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham did not accompany the team for its road game Saturday night against the Colorado Rapids.
Team officials said Beckham remained home because of back spasms. Beckham, whose name did not appear on the team’s injury report, is listed as day-to-day.
During five seasons with the Galaxy, Beckham has played only once in Colorado on March 29, 2008 — a game the Rapids won 4-0.
