Shumway — Soroptimist International of Southwest Washington held its 16th annual board of directors installation at the YWCA Clark County on June 13. The theme was Hollywood: “Lights, campaign, action!” Soroptimist is a nonprofit organization for professional women and men who work to improve the lives of women and girls in local communities and throughout the world. The directors for 2011-2012 are: Michelle Bart, president; Debra Adams, vice president; Gay Rochel, secretary; Cindy Walker, corresponding secretary; Diann Sauder, treasurer; Carolyn Pillsbury, assistant treasurer; Jan Haig, two-year director; and Jan Savoren, one-year director.
