LOS ANGELES (AP) — The ex-wife of Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt is accusing her ex-husband of making financial deals concerning the team behind her back in violation of a court order.

Jamie McCourt filed court papers Tuesday requesting a judge order Frank McCourt to turn over documents about the team’s finances after reading in the Los Angeles Times about a $200 million loan from Fox Television that Frank McCourt tried to secure.

According to the Feb. 25 story, the loan would have been secured by the Dodgers’ current cable television rights. If McCourt defaulted, the Times says, the Fox contract would have been extended at below-market rates.

Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig rejected the deal.

Sorrell Trope, Frank McCourt’s attorney, said in a letter that his client is the team’s designated control person.
