Giants sign Hixon, Reynaud, tender nine players

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Return specialists Domenik Hixon and Darius Reynaud have signed contract extensions with the New York Giants.

With the current collective bargaining agreement set to expire at the end of the day, the Giants also announced on Thursday that nine other players were tendered offers.

Defensive linemen Mathias Kiwanuka, Barry Cofield and Dave Tollefson, receiver Steve Smith, halfback Ahmad Bradshaw, tight end Kevin Boss and offensive lineman Kevin Boothe were tendered one-year contracts to restricted free agents.

Boss, Bradshaw, Cofield, and Tollefson received second-round tenders. Boothe, Kiwanuka and Smith each received an original round tender.
