Vancouver — Everyone’s a VIP — all community members and leaders are invited — Friday at the next Clark County Skills Center VIP Tour and Luncheon.

The free event, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., starts with an all-campus tour of classrooms to see state-of-the-art equipment and student demonstrations.

Following the tour, students from the award-winning Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts program will host, prepare and serve a gourmet lunch in the Skills Center restaurant. Cost is $5.

For more information and to make reservations, call Jan Strickland, 360-604-1050, ext. 2151, by Monday.

The Skills Center is at 12200 N.E. 28th St. in Vancouver. The 28-year-old program is operated by 10 Southwest Washington school districts to provide technical and professional training programs.
