CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — When Harvard plays Princeton in an Ivy League tiebreaker on Saturday, the winner will earn the conference’s automatic bid in the NCAA tournament.

Princeton last played in the NCAAs in 2004, and it would be Harvard’s first trip since 1946. But a loss by the Crimson could be even more historic.

Bracket-watchers say Harvard would be considered for an at-large berth in the tournament. The Ivy League has never gotten a second invitation. But the Crimson have quality wins over several teams who are likely to reach the tournament.

But the best way for Harvard and Princeton to get in: win the game on Saturday on Yale’s campus in New Haven, Conn.
