TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — Pierce County Prosecutor Mark Lindquist says Tacoma police officers were justified in fatally shooting a suicidal man last October when he pointed a handgun in their direction in a restaurant parking lot.
Lindquist called the death of 63-year-old Kenneth Wickham regrettable.
The News Tribune reports the Gig Harbor man was distraught over problems with his ex-wife.
