SEATTLE (AP) — The King County medical examiner’s office says a transient found dead March 5 near the Ballard Locks in Seattle died of hypothermia.
The Seattle Times reports the body of 49-year-old Charles N. Tompkins was found by a friend.
The friend said Tompkins struggled with alcohol. An empty jug of wine was found next to his body.
