PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police say a stabbing on a MAX train in Portland does not appear to be gang-related.
Witnesses say the two men began arguing during rush hour Tuesday afternoon and the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest.
The suspect got away. Paramedics met the train at a station to treat the victim. The 44-year-old Hillsboro man is reported in stable condition at a hospital.
