BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Boise State administrators say they have made fixes and issued a thorough response to violations alleged by the NCAA in the football, tennis and track and field programs.
An inquiry by the NCAA identified 22 specific infractions dating from 2005 to 2010, including coaches arranging summer housing and transportation for athletes to allowing one tennis player to compete before being officially enrolled.
The NCAA said the scope and nature of the infractions show the university lacked the internal controls to properly comply with rules.
Boise State President Bob Kustra says the university has made fixes, done its own internal investigation and hired a new compliance officer.
