NEW YORK (AP) — Arena Elvira beat Opus A by 514 lengths Thursday in the $55,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Belmont Park.
The 4-year-old filly posted her third win in seven starts. Jose Lezcano rode for trainer Bill Mott as she ran the one mile in 1:35.61.
Arena Elvira paid $7.40, $3.20 and $2.30. Opus A, the even-money favorite, returned $2.90 and $2.10. Speigthtful Affair paid $2.10 to show.
