Letter: Disastrous socialist policies must end

The Columbian

In his May 9 column, “Bigotry at heart of birther brouhaha,” Leonard Pitts mimics Michelle Obama with his ingratitude for equal American opportunity by dramatically flourishing the race card. Smoke-screening to silence any thoughtful opposition to Barack Hussein Obama and his disastrous socialist, economy-killing policies, old race-baiter dinosaurs like Pitts and the rest of the mixed nuts and assorted fruits of the co-opted Democratic Party are partnering with state-run, hard-left media in an attempt to convince citizens that conservatives are deservedly losing.

The only problem with that is the fact of recent provable conservative voting victories across the nation. Americans feel Obama’s hopey-changey boot on their neck. He is not filling their gas tanks and paying their mortgages; he is systematically siphoning the financial freedom of all Americans. Perhaps a strong, conservative, black president like successful entrepreneur Herman Cain or Lt. Colonel Allen West will finally silence the smarmy, manipulative, bigoted leftists in “news” media and politics. I have seldom been more ashamed of the left and their rush into racism.
