Elvis tribute artist Mark Stevenz & The Memphis Kings will headline a dinner show to benefit Clark County District Court’s veterans court.

Two other performers will make surprise appearances at “Dining with Elvis,” 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Life Point Campus, 305 N.E. 192nd Ave.

Tickets for the dinner and the concert are $30; show-only tickets are $20.

To buy tickets online, go to http://www.clarkcountyvetscourtboard.org.

You can also buy tickets by calling 360-260-2468 or at one of the following places: Clark County Veterans Assistance Center, 1305 Columbia St.; Anytime Fitness, 710 Esther St. or 5115 N.E. 82nd Ave; Dan Foster & Associates, 15609 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., Suite 100; Hazel Dell Animal Hospital, 808 N.E. Minnehaha St.; Dr. Charles Dufort Dentistry, 1300 Esther St.; or Ashbrook Medical Family Practice, 5512 N.E. 107th Ave.

The event is sponsored by more than a dozen businesses and organizations.

Proceeds will go to support and sustain the Veterans Therapeutic Court, court participants and its volunteers.

The court helps veterans who are facing combat-related trauma and have entered the criminal justice system for low-level offenses.

Clark County has an estimated 38,700 veterans.

Between April 2008 and December 2010, 540 veterans were booked into the Clark County Jail. Instead of going to jail, the court program requires most offenders to plead guilty to the misdemeanor crime and undergo intense supervision and treatment for a minimum of a year.
