Clarkston, Wash., man dies in motorcycle crash

LEWISTON, Idaho (AP) -- Asotin County officials say a 49-year-old Clarkston, Wash., man suffered fatal injuries in a motorcycle crash in Lewiston over the weekend.
Capt. Dan Hally says witnesses told investigators that Danny G. Wallace hit some gravel on the shoulder of the road shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday and lost control of his motorcycle. He was wearing a helmet.
The Lewiston Tribune reports medics took Wallace to the hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
Hally says the crash remains under investigation, but speed is not believed to be a factor.
