NEW YORK (AP) — Roddickton extended his winning streak to three, beating Capital Market by 114 lengths on Wednesday in the $53,000 allowance feature on the turf at Belmont Park.
Ridden by Jose Lezcano, Roddickton surged between rivals in the lane for his fourth win in 12 starts. The 5-year-old trained by Michael Matz ran the 1 1-16 miles in 1:43.48 over the course rated good.
Roddickton paid $12, $4.80 and $3.10. Capital Market returned $2.70 and $2.10. Sky Blazer paid $2.50 to show.
