A Florida woman who allegedly fled with her two children during a divorce 10 months ago was in the Clark County Jail on Tuesday night on suspicion of interfering in a child custody matter and child neglect.

Crystal Everitt, 30, was arrested Saturday and is being held without bail for two warrants from Brevard County, Fla,. jail officials said. A court hearing is set for Nov. 30.

The children, Journey Everitt, 8, and her brother, Trust Everitt, 3, had last been seen on Dec. 22 in Melbourne, Fla., according the news site FloridaToday.com.

On Sunday, they were reunited with their father, Jim Everitt.

The children had been living in a homeless shelter in Vancouver since June, the news site said.

“A worker at the facility became suspicious when Everitt was resistant to accepting services, including medical care and food for the children,” the news site said in a story on Tuesday.

The story said the shelter worker found information online that described Journey Everitt as missing and contacted authorities.

Melbourne is on east-central Florida’s Space Coast, about an hour’s drive south of the Kennedy Space Center, and 1 1/2 hours due east of Disney World, the city’s website says.
