Battle Ground — Maple Grove Primary School celebrated the school’s 30th anniversary on Oct. 20. Former teachers, principals, aides, custodians and secretaries came from as far as Yakima, Bend, Ore. and Seattle for a special gathering. Battle Ground Public Schools Superintendent Shonny Bria, several school board members and four former Maple Grove principals joined the festivities. Attendees sang the school song and enjoyed cake, punch and coffee.
