MOUNT VERNON, Wash. (AP) — Mount Vernon High School head football coach Jaxon Schwiekert was arrested Tuesday for investigation of domestic violence.
The Skagit County sheriff’s office says a deputy spoke to the victim and arrested Schweikert at the high school, where he’s a physical education teacher.
School district human resources executive director David Anderson told the Skagit Valley Herald (http://bit.ly/tccpdM) the alleged crime does not involve students or other school staff.
Schweikert has worked for the school district for three years.
