Jets place G Chris Mason on injured reserve

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — The Winnipeg Jets have placed goaltender Chris Mason on the injured reserve list Thursday and recalled defensemen Brett Festerling and Mark Flood from St. John’s of the AHL.

Mason is out with a lower-body injury. He has a 1-2-0 record this season with a 2.68 goals-against average and .893 save percentage. The move is retroactive to Oct. 27.

Festerling has a goal and three assists in 11 games with the IceCaps this season. Flood has a goal and six assists in 11 games with the American Hockey League club.
