PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A Portland park ranger was injured Sunday in a fight with a man armed with a knife in Forest Park.
Police say two rangers confronted a 50-year-old man who had reportedly been exposing himself to female hikers.
Police say he pulled out a knife and during a struggle the man and one of the rangers fell down a 70-foot embankment.
Both were taken to hospitals with serious injuries.
The 50-year-old man is in custody.
