Tulsa tops Arkansas-Little Rock 65-49

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Kodi Maduka snagged a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds to lead Tulsa to a 65-49 victory over Arkansas-Little Rock on Friday night in the season opener for both teams.

The Golden Hurricane took the lead midway through the first half and pulled away in the second, leading by double digits most of the way. Tulsa finished shooting 38 percent from the field while the Trojans shot 28 percent.

Tulsa’s Jordan Clarkson led the game in scoring with 15 points, shooting 9 for 11 from the free-throw line. Scottie Haralson added 12 points, all on 3-pointers, while D.J. Magley pulled down 12 rebounds.

Chuck Guy and Will Neighbour led the Trojans with 13 points apiece.
