Police on Tuesday morning said they arrested a suspected flasher in downtown Vancouver after a short foot chase.
An officer radioed that he was chasing a man on foot near The Columbian, 701 W. Eighth St., just before 8:30 a.m.
The man stopped running a few moments later when he was surrounded by at least three police officers.
The man had allegedly exposed himself to a woman downtown and she called 911, said Kim Kapp, spokeswoman for the Vancouver Police Department. When officers spotted a man fitting the suspect’s description, he ran.
Juan C. Espinoza, 19, of Vancouver was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure, Kapp said.
Espinoza was no longer in custody Tuesday night, jail officers said.
