BEREA, Ohio (AP) — Browns running back Montario Hardesty is not practicing as he continues to recover from a calf injury.

Coach Pat Shurmur said Wednesday he expects Hardesty to practice at some point this week and hasn’t ruled him out of Sunday’s game against Jacksonville. Hardesty missed Cleveland’s past two games after getting hurt Oct. 30.

Starting safety T.J. Ward had his cast removed to undergo more tests, which revealed a foot sprain. Shurmur expects Ward, who was fitted with a new cast, to return this season. Ward was injured in the Nov. 6 loss at Houston.

Wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi is expected to be on the practice field after missing two games with symptoms from a concussion sustained Oct. 23. Shurmur didn’t specify what Massaquoi will be able to do.
