Campbell defeats North Carolina A&T 94-66

BUIES CREK, N.C. (AP) — Darren White and Eric Griffin each recorded double-doubles as Campbell routed North Carolina A&T on Thursday night.

White scored 33 points and had 11 rebounds, while Griffin added 24 points and 13 rebounds for the Camels (3-0). Trey Freeman also chipped in with 13 points.

The Aggies, a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference team, led 44-43 with 19:05 left to play after Nic Simpson connected on a pair of free throws. But the Camels, a Big South Conference member, went on an 11-5 run sparked by six points from White to grab the lead.

They never trailed again, outscoring the Aggies 51-24 in the second half to seal the win.

The Camels outrebounded the Aggies 50-20 and also tallied 11 blocked shots.

Simpson led the Aggies (0-3) with 17 points and Jean Louisme added 10 as the only double-figure scorers for N.C. A&T.
