Weekend clam digging OK on Washington beaches

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) -- Instead of leftover turkey, how about fresh razor clams this weekend?

The Fish and Wildlife Department has approved razor clam digging Friday and Saturday on some Washington coastal beaches on evening tides.

Long Beach, Twin Harbors, Copalis and Mocrocks will open Friday. All but Copalis will remain open Saturday.

KBKW reports (http://bit.ly/uSIQe4 ) low tide is at 6:27 p.m. Friday and 7:14 p.m. Saturday.
