COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The Columbus Blue Jackets have added goaltender Allen York to the roster on emergency recall from the club’s American Hockey League affiliate in Springfield, Mass., and assigned left wing Matt Calvert to the Falcons.

Goaltender Steve Mason is listed as day to day with an upper body injury suffered during Monday’s morning skate. York will back up Curtis Sanford.

York has appeared in four games with the Blue Jackets this season, going 0-1-0 with a 3.53 goals-against average and .878 save percentage. He made his NHL debut against Detroit on Oct. 25 and made his first NHL start at Chicago on Oct. 29.

Columbus hosted Calgary on Monday night.
