Letter: True colors of GOP exposed

The Columbian
Published: November 20, 2011, 4:00pm

Rather than listening to Fox News and Russ Limbaugh for information, watch Congress in action on C-Span to seek the truth. Republicans vote against everything good for the people and have no agenda for jobs. Recently it was re-voting for the motto “In God We Trust,” which is already in place. Then it was re-voting for abortion laws, some that are already in place. People need jobs, not wasting money on policies already in place as the Republican Party is doing.

U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., thinks the feds should cut back on grants to states’ food stamp programs for the over 40 million who are out of work, all the while protecting Big Oil and corporations’ tax credits. The Republicans show who they really are without even trying to hide it.
