Oregon holds off Nebraska rally to win 83-76

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — E.J. Singler hit four free throws in the final minute to give Oregon the lead and the Ducks held off Nebraska 83-76 Wednesday night.

Nebraska rallied from 15 points down with a 22-7 run, tying the game at 75 with 2:01 to play on Bo Spencer’s layup. The Huskers stopped Oregon on its next possession, but Nebraska’s Brandon Ubel was called for a foul and Singler hit his first pair of free throws to put Oregon back in the lead with 43 seconds remaining. The Ducks went 8 for 8 from the foul line in the final minute.

Garrett Sim led the Ducks (3-1) with 20 points. Singler had 14 points, Olu Ashaolu added 12 and Jeremy Jacob scored 10 points for Oregon.

Jorge Brian Diaz scored 21 points to lead Nebraska (3-1). Dylan Talley scored 18 and Ubel had 15 for the Huskers.
