South Carolina-Upstate beats Victory 88-54

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) — Torrey Craig scored 16 points and led five South Carolina-Upstate players in double figures in the Spartans’ 88-54 win over Victory of the NAIA on Sunday.

Adrian Rogers added 14 points, Babatunde Olumuyiwa 12, Carter Cook 11 and Ty Greene 10 for Norfolk State (5-2).

The Spartans shot 50 percent from the field (34 of 68) and outscored the Eagles 46-34 in the paint.

SC-Upstate outrebounded Victory 47-27 as 12 of the 13 players who saw action tallied at least one rebound. The Spartans outscored victory 20-12 on second-chance points, and had 13 assists to 12 turnovers.

The Eagles turned it over 21 times, leading to 18 points by the Spartans.

Victory shot 37.9 percent in the first half (11 of 29), leading to a 45-25 S.C.-Upstate lead at the half.

Kerron Jackson was the only scorer in double figures for the Eagles, tallying 27 points.
