NEW YORK (AP) — Meiko Lyles had 17 points, leading four Columbia players in double-figure scoring, as the Lions beat Division III Swarthmore 104-42 on Monday night to notch consecutive wins for the first time this season.

Alex Rosenberg added 15 points, Steve Egee 13 and Mark Cisco 12 for the Lions (2-4). Columbia got three or more 3-pointers from four different players, led by Lyles’ 5 of 7 performance from beyond the arc. Columbia was 16 of 33 (48.5 percent) from long range compared to just a 4-of-15 (26.7 percent) night for Swarthmore.

Columbia jumped out to an early 8-1 lead and never trailed in the contest, which marked the first meeting between the teams since the Lions beat the Garnet 45-15 in the 1905-06 season.

The Lions led 60-26 at the break and outscored Swarthmore 44-16 in the second half.

Jordan Federer’s 10 points led the Garnet (0-5).
