Battle Ground Police Department

Staff: 21 sworn, 9 civilians.

2011 budget: $4,098,070 for law enforcement.

Coverage area: 17,800 residents; about 4 square miles.

Station/Precincts: 507 S.W. First St., Battle Ground. Open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays.

Number of officers per shift: 13 on days, 11 on swing and graveyard. (Not counting detectives, specialty units and administration.)
