Eastern Washington fends off Idaho 73-66

MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — Cliff Ederaine and Cliff Colimon scored 13 points each as Eastern Washington hit 13 3-pointers to beat the Idaho 73-66 on Wednesday night.

Jordan Hickert made 4 of 9 from behind the arc for 12 points to help the Eagles (4-2) stretch their win streak to three.

Kyle Barone had 14 points on 4-7 shooting and Mansa Habeeb, Landon Tatum and Stephen Madison contributed 10 each for the Vandals (3-3).

The Eagles began with an 18-4 run and stretched to their largest lead of 20 by hitting eight 3-pointers in the half. Idaho cut the Eagles’ lead to 38-24 by halftime.

The Vandals started the second half with a 12-6 run to pull within nine points, but the Eagles again got hot from behind the arc, hitting four 3-pointers in a row to put the game out of reach.
