SAN DIEGO (AP) — Miami Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne left Sunday’s game against San Diego after hurting his left shoulder while carrying the ball on a broken play.

Henne went to hand off to Lex Hilliard, who wasn’t ready for the ball. Henne carried for a 1-yard gain but was hurt. After being tended to on the field, he was taken to the locker room. The team said he was questionable to return.

Backup Matt Moore came on and completed a 31-yard pass to Charles Clay.
