ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — The Detroit Lions are without leading tackler Justin Durant for their game at Dallas.

Durant was inactive Sunday because of a concussion. Bobby Carpenter, a former first-round pick by the Cowboys, replaced Durant in the starting lineup at outside linebacker.

Pro Bowl receiver Miles Austin is sitting out another game for the Cowboys with his hamstring problem, though he expects to return after next week’s open date. Dez Bryant is active despite a bruised thigh that has bothered him for the past couple of weeks, while Kevin Ogletree again started in Austin’s spot.

The Cowboys also are without starting right defensive end Jason Hatcher because of a calf injury. Marcus Spears took over in the starting spot.
