Colts trying to juggle banged-up offensive line

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indianapolis Colts are in full juggling mode along the offensive line.

Starting left tackle Anthony Castonzo is likely to miss Sunday’s game with an ankle injury. Backup left tackle Ben Ijalana is on injured reserve with a torn ACL. Right guard Ryan Diem is still trying to recover from a sprained left ankle, and the Colts may have to play musical chairs against Kansas City.

On Wednesday, the Colts signed veteran tackles Michael Toudouze, who played the last four seasons in Indy, and former Falcon and Patriot Quinn Ojinnaka.

But the Colts need more than bodies. They need blockers who can protect starting quarterback Curtis Painter against a league that will gladly exploit Indy’s glaring problems.
