Letter: Other options for pro baseball

I say “yes” to minor league baseball with some amendments to stadium requirements and funding. First, I think that Vancouver should look at the West Coast League and establish a team playing at Clark College. I think that most players who played for Cowlitz Black Bears were attending colleges and some were even in the major league draft. The current stadium will probably need additional seating up to 2,500 fans, but the county will not need additional entertainment tax monies. Also, other stadiums that are not being used during the summer should be explored. Is the Kiggins Bowl available and can it be fielded for minor league baseball?
