Hiker missing in Mount Hood National Forest

OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) — The Clackamas County sheriff’s office says the search continues Tuesday for a Portland woman missing on a hike in the Mount Hood National Forest.

Low clouds prevented the use of aircraft Monday when more than 50 volunteers searched steep and rugged terrain in rain and wind.

The 47-year-old Lidiya Russu was reported missing Friday, and her car was found Saturday off a Forest Service road near High Rocks lookout.
