PASCO, Wash. (AP) — The Pasco School Board may decide to have elementary school students attend classes year-round to reduce overcrowding.
KVEW reports (http://bit.ly/pEzDEA ) the board was prepared to make a decision at Tuesday night’s meeting, after a series of recent hearings with parents.
Some parents are concerned family schedules will get off track without a long summer break. Others say it would be an improvement because it could keep students focused on school all year long.
