MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) — Bill Snyder is doing it again.
After leading Kansas State from the college football morass two decades ago, the 72-year-old coach is doing it again. The No. 17 Wildcats are off to a 5-0 start heading into Saturday night’s game at Texas Tech.
Snyder turned one of the worst programs in the history of college football into a perennial winner, but he stepped way a few years ago during a brief retirement.
He couldn’t stay on the sideline for long.
Snyder led the Wildcats back to a bowl game last season, and has them one win away from bowl eligibility again.
