WR Austin, CB Scandrick return for Cowboys

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -- Wide receiver Miles Austin and cornerback Orlando Scandrick are active for the Dallas Cowboys against the New England Patriots.
Austin missed the past two games with a hamstring injury and Scandrick sat out the past three with a high ankle sprain. Inactive for Dallas on Sunday were defensive ends Jason Hatcher and Clifton Geathers, guards Derrick Dockery and David Arkin, fullback Tony Fiammetta, kicker David Buehler and quarterback Stephen McGee.
The inactive players for the Patriots were linebacker Jerod Mayo, who missed his second game with a knee injury, safeties Sergio Brown and Josh Barrett, tackle Sebastian Vollmer, wide receiver Julian Edelman, cornerback Ras-I Dowling and quarterback Ryan Mallett.
