SEAL BEACH, Calif. (AP) — A woman wounded in last week’s shooting at a hair salon in a Seal Beach, Calif., has been upgraded to good condition.

Seal Beach police say in a statement dated Sunday that the change in Harriet Stretz’s condition was released at the request of her family.

The 73-year-old Stretz is the only survivor among the nine people who were shot.

The Orange County Register (http://bit.ly/o4UbGI) reports that a memorial will be held Monday for one victim at a restaurant next to the salon. Sixty-four-year-old David Caouette, a regular customer of the restaurant, was shot in the parking lot outside.

Police also plan a press conference Monday afternoon to release recordings of 911 calls.

Scott Dekraai, the ex-husband of one of the slaying victims, is charged with the shootings.
