WSU honors Free Clinic

Salmon Creek — Washington State University Vancouver presented two Community Awards of Distinction at its annual Scholarship and Service Recognition Dinner on Oct. 12 and awarded $325,000 in scholarships to 142 students. The award for Community Partnership went to the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington. The award for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion went to Teresa Williamson of Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation. The awards were established in 2009 by Chancellor Emeritus H.A. “Hal” Dengerink. “We are truly thankful to all of the individuals and corporations who support student scholarships at WSU Vancouver,” said Jennifer Miltenberger, WSU Vancouver’s director of development and alumni relations.
